Charlbury Town Youth Football Club was founded in 1947 and is here to provide boys and girls from Charlbury and the surrounding villages with the opportunity to play football. The club runs youth teams up to Under 18s. The boys teams play in either the Witney and District Youth Football League or the Oxfordshire Youth Football League, with the girls teams playing in the Oxfordshire Girls Football League.
Our approach
All our head coaches are qualified to at least FA Level 1 standard. This includes being a qualified coach, having Emergency First Aid training, having undertaken a child protection course and being CRB checked.
The club is affiliated to the Oxfordshire FA and was awarded the FA Charter Standard way back in 2002. The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people. As a benchmark for quality, it improves the playing experience for all.
We have also signed up to the Football Association’s RESPECT campaign.
“To enable children of all ages the opportunity to play sport.”

Please see Teams for more information about the different age groups.
